Curate is a photo-sorting app. It does not ask for your name, e-mail address, or any account. This page describes exactly what the app accesses, why, where it's processed, and what you can ask of us.

| Read access to your photos | Curate reads your photo library to group similar shots (by time and by visual similarity) so you can pick the best one to keep. This happens through Apple's Photos framework, on your device. |
| Location metadata (when present) | The Trips sorting mode reads the location already attached to your photos by the Camera app, to group them by place. This metadata is read from your library and never leaves your device — Curate does not use GPS itself and does not request location access from iOS. |
| Delete access | When you apply your choices, Curate asks iOS to delete the photos you discarded. iOS always shows its own confirmation dialog before anything is actually removed, and deleted photos go to your Recently Deleted album like any other deletion. |

Curate shows no advertising and performs no tracking under Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework. No data is sent to any advertising network or third-party analytics service. No tracking permission prompt is shown, because there is nothing to authorize.
There is no server. Every part of Curate — reading photos, clustering similar shots, choosing a recommendation, applying deletions — runs locally on your iPhone. Nothing is uploaded to us or to any third party, at any point.
The only outside party involved is Apple, through the App Store's own purchase system (StoreKit) when you buy Curate Pro. That transaction is handled entirely by Apple under Apple's own privacy policy; Curate never receives your payment information.
Since no personal data is collected or transmitted by Curate, there is nothing for us to retain or delete on our side. Data stored locally (your sorting decisions and preferences) stays on your device for as long as the app is installed, and is removed automatically if you delete the app.
Applicable data protection law (including the EU's GDPR, where relevant) gives you rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, and portability. Since Curate collects no personal data and holds nothing on any server, the simplest way to exercise these rights is to delete the app: that removes every trace of the small amount of local data described above (decisions, preferences, purchase cache) from your device.

Curate is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect any data from anyone, regardless of age — the app collects no personal data from any user.
Any change to this policy will be published on this page with an updated date. A meaningful change — for example, introducing advertising, analytics, or an account system — would also be reflected in the app's privacy manifest and its App Store listing before the update goes live.
